The Evolution of Écrin

Six years ago, Kate Rawlins founded Rawlins Studio with a singular obsession: elevating skincare into something rare. What began as one room defined by precision and trust has evolved into Écrin by Rawlins Studio. Écrin is the natural next chapter — a refined expression of years spent perfecting both technique and experience. A jewel box designed to hold what is exceptional.

At its core remains the same unwavering standard: treatments delivered with clinical expertise, discretion, and deep personalization. Skin is studied and treated with intention. It is never rushed, and never formulaic.

Here, the ritual extends beyond the treatment room. Every object, material, and detail has been thoughtfully curated and is entirely shoppable. What you experience in the space becomes part of your daily practice.

Kate & Alley, the creators.

Kate and Alley met by chance and quickly discovered a shared devotion to skin, design, and beauty in its many forms. Drawn to the idea of housing these passions within a single, beautiful space, they created Écrin — a place where aesthetics, care, and intention come together seamlessly.

Kate is a licensed aesthetician and the founder of Rawlins Studio, which she owned and operated for six years prior to the creation of Écrin. Alley has eight years of experience in the aesthetic industry, working with some of the top companies. In addition she obtained a masters in interior design and owned and operated her own interiors firm the last ten + years.

Écrin by Rawlins Studio takes its name from the French word for a jewel box, symbolizing a space that holds all things beautiful and precious. A hidden gem, Écrin is ever-evolving, with a showroom that is constantly changing and treasures available to bring home. Every detail is considered, and every experience feels quietly transformative.
